Gemstone Inclusions
The science of gemstone inclusion study was first founded by the late Dr. Edward Gubelin, of the Gübelin Gem Lab in Lucerne, Switzerland. Through his extensive research and travels throughout the world, he has studied and catalogued key identifing inclusions characteristics of many of the world's gemstone. Further, with the use of advanced emerging technologies, Dr. Gubelin, founded the the science of identifing the gemstone's origin.
HKD, through its advanced gemological laboratory located in Bangkok, Thailand, the gemstone capital of the world, has built an extensive gemstone sample set and comprehensive scientific data. With this unique set of information, HKD is proud to launch its Gemstone Identification Report for Ruby, Sapphire and Emeralds.
